please give the sound man something besides that hard core he loves to play in between the bands and I know the sound man is getting deef because he turns the bands so loud yo can't hear the vocals unless you stand outside and the club door is open..

har, yer getting old bob!

FYI - a lot of times the band has their own amps turned up too loud & bands tend to ignore my sound guys when asked to turn down.

payed just as Head was taking their equipment off. a moberate thumping drone played over the house sound and since I bitched about the "i hate you agro" Hawkwind sounded refreshing.

ran into Paul Hood back from my punker days, he looked fit and distinguised in and odd theatrical way. He reminded me that his band, the Toiling Midgits, will be opening for Negative Trend at the Funhouse in a couple of weeks. Spotted a couple of Goners, one dude in an Oblivians t shirt and some hot chickies, a junkyard angel came in late in the Zeros set.
She was working the street and had to clean up in the ladies room, some odd jailhouse tats on her lower back.

oh yeah, the Zeros played all their hits and more for over an hour and came back for two encores, finished with an MC5 cover, but those chickies dug "latin lupe lou" which the boys told us was a Righteous Brothers cover.

The Real Kids at Budget Rock some years ago really knocked me out but The Zeros gave us a real sweet sound too.
