i saw Greg do a solo set (accompanied by the lead guitar player from The Fondas) in Hamtramck and it was AWESOME. he did a blazing version of Vietnam War Blues. cool to see the songs done more sparsely. it really pushed the songwriting up to the front. super cool. and yeah, totally nice flyer.

I'll be the first to confirm its awesomeness. He must've played 30 songs for about an hour and a half to a capacity bar all yelling and laughing and crying in their two dollar beers.

I'll second that. It was a wonderful day yesterday. Sunny and beautiful and an hour and a half of Cartwright songs.

laughing and crying
Yeah, everyone was having so much fun and I got tears during I Don't Want to Laugh at You. But it was hard not to.

Love the song, too bad the bald guy sittin on the floor ruined it for me.

I taped that whole show, the bright light that was glaring in the window behind Greg makes the video look odd, it sounds really great
