Posted: Mar 5, 2006 4:05 am
Hey Joe T, I just want you to know that I thnk it's the coolest that you're kickin' so much ass these days.
Posted: Mar 5, 2006 7:10 am
Posted: Mar 5, 2006 10:57 am
Yeah, BJ. You've been quite the little suck-ass ever since you went "too far" with Rev. Dan.
Posted: Mar 6, 2006 1:11 am
What? With Whom? I dig the shit outta Joe and he's known that for a long time. Plus I wanna give him props since his weirdo girl left him and he STILL has to tour with her. That's gotta suck. HAHAHAHA!!!! Jesus Scott, you really don't know anything. I'll fess up anything that's true though. NEXT!
Posted: Mar 6, 2006 1:18 am
Yeah I'm a kiss ass cuz I say nice things to people I'm friends with. And I just started doing that last week! You fucking moron. How's that for ass kissing, wombat?
Posted: Mar 6, 2006 1:50 am
BJ, you old softie!
Posted: Mar 6, 2006 1:53 am
Sorry Bazooka Joe. And you're right, I'm the wombatiest.
Posted: Mar 6, 2006 1:55 am

It's cool Scott, I know you don't know what the fuck your talking about.
Posted: Mar 7, 2006 1:11 am
I know what I'm talking about. I can't remember what the other thread was, but I do know I've seen you say two nice things on the Goner Board within the past week (both since your falling out with Dan) which is two more than I've ever seen before. I ain't sayin' that's bad, and I ain't criticizing. Most of the time I find you quite amusing. I'm just taking this opportunity point that out.
Posted: Mar 7, 2006 1:34 am
I always give praise where praise is due. And it's really often. You're soooo confused! But I'm really glad I amuse you. That's why I'm here, baby!
Posted: Mar 7, 2006 1:10 pm | Edited by: Scott
I'm not talking about your everyday life. I'm talking about here on the Goner Board. It's usually pretty salty. Enough so that when you go out of your way to say something nice it's noticable. Therefore I thought I should rag on youin the finest Goner/ Bazooka Joe tradition.
Posted: Mar 7, 2006 2:04 pm
he's a shameless sycophant. it's pathetic really.
Posted: Mar 7, 2006 4:20 pm
Yeah, that cool Scott, but just to clarify, it has nothing to do with Rev. Dan.
Posted: Mar 7, 2006 11:32 pm
Yeah, I know. That was just part of my takin' a shot.

On the back of the Memphis Flyer it says Brimstone Howl is playing this. is this a fallacy?
Posted: Mar 11, 2006 10:13 pm

hey, I just got a call saying that Ron Franklin is playing early at the Bucc -- 10PM or so...
Posted: Mar 14, 2006 3:59 pm
shatterfest 06... d masters cancel. PA completely fucked for jeff & ross after working fine the night before. SO... jack stands goes and brings in a whole new PA and w/quinn's help, sets the thing up after Ross & Jeff's set. Speaker fell on Elle, but she seemed to be all right.

in the midst of the chaos, it sorta made sense. God that was loud.

thanks to jack stands for making it happen. not his show, not his PA, not anything other than pure goodth of heart and willingness to never say die.

I salute ya!
Posted: Mar 14, 2006 3:59 pm
they played "George Washington!"
Posted: Mar 14, 2006 4:19 pm
Jack Stands, I'm gonna send you some presents tomorrow for being such a doll.
Posted: Mar 14, 2006 5:44 pm
oh yeah, AND he donated the use of this PA for the Live Fast Die / DC Snipers show tonight... which would have sucked if he hadn't.

Jack Stands for mayor!

Speaker fell on Elle
Damn! I missed that! Sorry Elle, that thing ain't light, neither.
Now I feel bad for laughing. I looked up and all I saw was Eric, Jeff Evans and Quinn doing some kind of weird Keystone-Cops-meets-Flag-Raising-at-Iwo-Jima dance with the speaker and stand.
Anyway, the P.A. is hooked up to the main house speakers now, so those stands shouldn't be an issue tonight.

Good luck to the Cheater Slicks at SxSW, and thanks for a great time!

I can't hear!
Tom passed out without spilling his beer!
Posted: Mar 14, 2006 10:20 pm
i would've wanted jack stands in my foxhole if we had been in nam. if for no other reason than we could've talked about metal and prog. oh wait no we couldn't they weren't invented yet. oh well. we would've found something to do i guess. jack stands rules!!!

Elle= Wonder Woman.
Posted: Mar 15, 2006 3:35 am
Elle= Wonder Woman.

nope, sorry. I been wonder woman since 1977 and I got the underoos to prove it.
Posted: Mar 15, 2006 4:28 am
I can't hear either, which is why I am skipping the DC Snipers tonight. thanks, Cheater Slicks and Jeff & Ross for a great show and after party!
Posted: Mar 15, 2006 5:41 am
I can't wait to hear the new Cheater Slicks record. I also need to buy the last one they put out again. What was it called? It was amazing that those guys could even stand up.

I have a feeling it'd be a couple of hours of "guess what I'm holding in my hand, now?" game.

Somebody throw out a flare in 20. There's Zips on the wire, and I still got some claymores to set...

Sorry. Response to dirk's vietnam foxhole scenario earlier. Beer gives me the ability to throw away the rules of timing. And the strength to fight off Uncle Billy.
Posted: Mar 16, 2006 8:48 pm
such a good show. i love them. arrrrrrgh!

i'm fine from the speaker fall. i caught the thing oddly enough with one hand and then held it for a second and everyone else rushed over and got it, thank christ. i was standing there and all the sudden "what the fuck?!?" hahah.
