May i suggest a trip down to Dan West to purchase some Spinosad? Spinosad is an organic pesticide with one of the lowest environmental impacts, leaving most beneficial insects unharmed but destroying anything that wants to munch on your plants and it has almost zero toxicity for fowl and beast. For tomatoes, you can apply it and harvest the next day with no negative results. It's a type of bacteria, isolated from the soil of an abandoned rum distillery, that causes the insects to stop eating and work themselves to death, a fact that any bug hating sadist can surely enjoy, I know I do. I've used it, it works great and keeps my garden organic without having to work too hard at it.

Now, if they can come up with something for squash bugs ....

Sounds great. Those hornworms are a little bitter... but de-horned, then blended with simple sugar & cherry flavoring and poured over a sno cone... delicious!

Are those the little bastards that completely strip leaves from tomato plants?
