check out Lockhart associates.
They are located on Poplar. When I was looking for something last year they were able to get me several interviews.

lockhartassociates.net is the website i believe.

I'll keep my ears open. I've heard Service Assurance is hiring if you are interested in outsourced IT work. http://www.serviceassurance.net/

i've recommended indeed.com in the past and still do.

You can sub for MCS. Pay's not bad, and you can work as much or as little as you want. Here's the link: http://www.mcsk12.net/aboutmcs_human_resources_sub_teacher_info.asp

in the meantime, i was wondering, Will the LVL Microllam beam I made replace a W8x35 steel I beam for a 20 foot span?

Eric... Your LVL beam is woefully inadequate and is subject to STRUCTURAL FAILURE. Your best bet is to sandwich a couple of steel flitch-plates---possibly a couple of 5/16" or maybe 3/8"---without knowing the exact load conditions its hard to say. ---For future reference: a rule of thumb for sizing a wood beam is 1" of height per foot of length. Also it's a good idea to keep your Span-to-Depth Ratio below 20.

Start networking with every regional professional organization in your field(s). It's a great way to pick up short term free-lance gigs and job listings that never find their way out of good ol' boy loop.
