Any comments? Does anyone eat at Danver's? Do you spell it with an apostrophe? What about that "rotton 2 X 4 font" they use across the front? What about dressing that "item" at the salad bar? I have another name for Danvers: "Uninviting Asshole Of Despair."

I thought that's what everyone called Chris Alienator.Maybe he should get a job at Danver's.

I just spelled "rotten" with two 'o's up there. Too many afternoons of smoking dirtweed behind the dumpster at Lord Of The Hotwings has done me in. I once ate at an establishment in Texarkana TX called "The Catfish King," and I soon had VERY strong evidence against the lofty claim contained in the name. The hush puppies looked exactly like some kind of cheese impulse item, and they came out of a machine that voided item of taste and made them cylindrical. There wasn't even any breading! Also, I imagine that eating Gar fish meat through a broken jaw to be more exiting and rewarding than slurping up that bottom-feeding, $6.95 finned-roach on a late, late, Saturday evening in the scariest area of the country.

Danver's actually has good onion straws (although they're not really straw-like, more like onion pieces). And their minestrone isn't bad. Nice and salty, but Subway has them beat on that. They do have shitty fries, however.

while i haven't indulged in quite a while, danver's 1.99 breakfast (scrambled eggs + bacon or sausage+ hash browns) really is not that bad. i'd take it over bryant's, myself.
