I'm curious what you guys think are the best Memphis bands of the underground rawk'n'roll/punk/garage/broken blues persuasion... WHY? Well, a couple of us from St. Louis might be putting out a 2nd volume of "Landlocked & Loaded!" and we think it'd be good to have the Bluff City represented... so let's hear some suggestions.

thanx,
kopper

Sal Si Puedes is pretty good. They sound a little like The Vines, but with their own special touch. They have a show Sept. 27 at the Complex.

You can email them at salsipuedes@soon.com
