Jim Dandy doesn't "walk" down Central...Central moves underneath him whichever way he wants to go

He does the Fargo Strut down Central ...

I saw him in the canned goods aisle at Kroger at Poplar/Highland. Got a very loud, friendly "HEY NOW!" greeting and half the store stopped to gape. I never thought about him doing normal stuff like grocery shopping before then. Best Kroger trip ever.

you know what it was.......he did have a strut going!

looked like he was making his way to the stage, hair flying and he was smiling. thats what caught my eye, how many people smile as they walk?

and while we're talkin bout walkin....what's up with the numnuts of central gardens? always walking, jogging, or pushing their babies in the middle of the street.

never see this in any other part of town.

Go Jim Dandy, go Jim Dandy! I love me some Black Oak.

That's from Don Kirshner's Rock Concert if I remember right.

anybody catch BOA at Newby's last Saturday?
Posted: Nov 30, 2007 8:09 pm

It rocked, even without live drums and bass. Too bad not many people saw their set. Wait'll ya hear the new album. It just might be the best BOA ever.

I remember being mesmerized by that chick they always had on stage with them.

She was wearing Daisy Dukes before they were known as Daisy Dukes. I wonder where she is now. Maybe Rickie Lee swallowed her?

the BOA website is fan-tas-tic

That was Ruby Star. She was righteous. Unfortunately, she died of cancer a few years back.
