Memphis Scene: Ska Rockers Inspired By Jesus & Sinatra
Some of the songs they play, like Jellybeans and Apathy, "have nothing to do with God or our love for Christ or anything, but when we play we represent Christ," Wells said. "We try to make it known through some of our lyrics."
Jellybeans and Apathy was "about a day Jared and I had. We went to go see this girl sing. We pulled into the parking lot to get on a bus we were supposed to get on (to go see the show). (A) lady was yelling at us to get out'cause we didn't belong there. So, we went to Target and threw stuffedanimals, like a giant dog, over the aisle. We always do stuff like that. We kick balls down the aisle and try not to get caught. Then we came home and we're like, 'Man, today was really stupid. Let's write a song about it.' "
