Last month, I paid a visit to a wonderful art exhibition about THE DESERT at the Fondation Cartier in Paris, France. Some of the nicest pictures were taken by some William Eggleston. A friend of mine who studied photography told me that Eggleston is quite a big name in contemporary photography. I'm wondering if this is the same person who's featured on the companion CD with Robert Gordon's 'It Came From Memphis' book. P.S. The exhibition is at 261 Boulevard Raspail, Paris 14 (metro Raspail/12-8PM-closed on mondays/ends the 5th of November) and features great work by 10 contemporary artists, among which RAYMOND DEPARDON and BILL VIOLA. Highly recommended!
