K and I have t-mobile. Haven't had problems with the reception -reception is good. Go for it.

I've got t-mobile, and get no reception at home (near overton square), but I had great reception with Verizon. So you pretty much have to ask your neighbors and coworkers if they get good reception with their service.

And really, if you're at the Bayou, do you want to talk to anybody?

i like verizon a lot more than i have any other service. i went around and around with stupid ass cingular so many times. cricket was the absolute worst for getting any reception, but that's to be expected.

i didn't get good reception out at mci/verizon when i worked there with cingular or verizon. i don't think that anyone can get any good reception in that building because i think they did something (while i was working there too because it used to not be the case) to dampen out cell phone reception so people would avoid sending text messages, since it causes interference in the call boxes. but i do know that some people who had sidekicks (t-mobile) didn't have any problem connecting to the internet and to ip-relay in the call center. (which is funny because you could be at work and harrass your co-workers using the service you were working for. was a real pain in the ass at times because some people i had some dickhead friends that would torture me at times. i'd hang up on them all the time though. or pass them off to some other unsuspecting coworker under the premise of having to go to the bathroom.)

i think pretty much most reception these days anymore is going to be about equal. the plans vary and customer service varies. i've never had any real problems with verizon customer service-wise, and i used to want to strangle people at cingular. t-mobile's reps are about half retarded and sometimes barely speak english, which you should know from working at verizon, april. do you have a discount on your service with verizon at all? if not, give them a call and they can tell you what you need to do to get that discount. i still have mine even after i quit back in august. heheh.

That is NOT nice. If you don't like gay porn don't try that link. Ned Hayden, go for it!

Man Scott, I thought "gay-porn" was your middle name.

Maybe I'm thinking of Blade Rodgers...

You aren't thinking of me.

i ended up getting t mobile. i tried it yesterday and it works great from work. verizon never did and it would annoy me....everyone else there that has verizon svc has said the same thing so i don't think it was my phone. it also works good in my house. i got dropped calls just about anytime i talked in my bedroom with verizon. i think most of the t mobile people i call at the relay center seem pretty patient. they have to deal with so many deaf fuckers because of those sidekicks!! i have a memphis nbr now if anyone wants it.....also i have a hot pink phone!!!

Ive never had any problem with sprint. Dropped my phone in a sewer grate and sprint mailed a replacement within 3 days without a hassle, no charge.

Any major carrier with a free call plan after 7 PM. Verizon has the best coverage and clearest service, but I don't like waiting until 9 PM to make personal calls.
