"One of rock's genuine wildmen, Hasil Adkins, came to Chicago for two
shows in 1992, and Bughouse recorded the entire occassion on
swell-quality eight-channel equipment. Every screech, mumble, and
brilliant song was captured in all the ragged glory of The Haze's best
performances. The tape even includes the heart-stopping moment when, in a
frenzy, The Haze threw his guitar into the crowd and beaned a fan,
sending him to the hospital for six stiches!
This landmark release is also the first time in The Haze's
career that he has been recorded live. His interaction with the crowd,
when he's not hospitalizing them, is something to hear. Several of the
songs The Haze made up on the spot; others include such Hasil hits as
"The Chicken Walk", "I Want Your Head", "She Said", "The Hunch", and
"Boo-Boo The Kitty". As if that weren't enough, he also rips through
stellar versions of "Maybelline", "Mystery Train", and "I'm So Lonesome I
Could Cry"." from the Pravda website!
