I'm waiting.......

Got half a butternut squash waiting on the goner board for something other than a soup recipe.

This is what I did to the other half:

onion, butter, chopped fresh spinach, celery, carrots, cream/milk, bullion cube and the mashed up butternut squash. Soup. There ya go!

butter and brown sugar, bake it for awhile

You could cube and parboil and stuff into a porkchop or chicken breast along with some herbs.

roast w/ garlic salt peppa and olive oil- call it fucking good

improvised a pretty good thing the other night:

roast diced acorn squash in the oven

sautee in a pan:
sage brown butter
shallots
garlic

after that's all cooked, toss the squash around in the pan, add some salt and pepper

turn off the heat and add some thin strips of serrano ham
