I think this place is operated by Mormons. I always see one in there I know.

Jimmy:
I'm not saying this to be a jerk, but I gotta ask, why is it every review I read about your restaurant, it always comes down to you (or your employees--not exactly sure who it is) telling people when they come to eat at your restaurant that your food takes so long to cook--at least an hour, almost like you don't want customers. I've never been to any other restaurant that acts like that. It's not like you have the only pizza joint in the world. Others manage to get food out in less than an hour. What makes yours so special?

Also, your hours make it really difficult to get to for dinner. I went there to have dinner one night. I got there at 7:55 and you were closed. To this day, I have no idea if your food is any good because I never got in. It seems like you have your own unique brand of customer service, which you are entitled to, of course, but you make it really hard for people to get there for dinner, and then it sounds like you got a pretty mediocre attitude on top of it if you are telling people random customers that it takes an hour to get served there. Maybe your food is so good it is worth waiting for, but I for one am not driving 45 minutes to Bartlett again to find you closed at 7:55.

I've been there several times and it only takes 5 min to get the food. My only complaint is it's located in a dumpy strip mall. Hopefully the lease ends soon so you can move on to bigger and better things.

Typical foodie spot plagued by unusual circumstances.....thus making it all the more special when you finally arrive at that glorious day of consumption. Also...wear lots of Cubs gear in there to show your support:)

The owners don't seem like Mormon's that I know but the dogs are good and toppings are even better. Jimmy is not the warmest restauranteur you'll ever run into, and the wait has been long a few times but neither so much as to be a deal breaker. Deep dish pizzas takes a long time to cook all the way through, so be prepared to wait.

also, if you get the deep dish, the shitty plastic forks they give you will break and melt from the napalm magma levels of heat and girth of the pizza...bring your own silverware. seriously. Plus, a knife and fork look bitchin' in your back pocket.

Did this place move to a new location? It's now a sushi joint.

Saw a bit about them closing. Don't know the reason. Was recently in the area and had to opt for sign-crazy, rice hopper riding nazi mexican instead of some good Chicago dogs.
