They quit making the frisco burger? When?

McRib shouldn't even count since they bring that back every year or so.

Wendy's Dave's Deluxe

Is the arch deluxe the "keep the hot side hot and the cold side cold" burger? If not, I vote for that one

I'm retired from eating them though.

Not everywhere. The recent "McRib Tour" had ZERO stops in the Bay Area. Total gyp.

Burger King's Burger Buddies were alright. However, I don't know if it was a limited time only hamburger, or if they didn't sell enough and quit making them.

Burger King's "Big Plain"
Posted: Aug 16, 2007 7:21 pm

Anyone remember Burger King's Veal Parmagiana sandwich? It was on the menu circa 1981. It tasted okay, but I puked the only time I ever ate one. (It was on a trip to visit family friends in Peoria, Illinois.) I'm not sure the sandwich was the culprit, but that was the ONLY time I've even suspected that an item of food made me sick.

In the late 1970's, Jack in the Box had a Steak Sandwich that was actually really good. It had 3 onion rings on it!

Around the same time, Jack in the Box also had a burrito on the menu that I loved. It was a tortilla stuffed with beans and mystery meat and then deep-fried, so it was more like an individual chimichanga.

i remember eating them, but i thought they were just called the "italian" sandwich - seems like they had several "international" sandwiches, but I could be wrong.

what was that burger king sandwich with onion rings and i think bbq sauce, i seem to recall it having something to do with toy story?

Carls Jr. did that too. Good.

McDLT, so fresh and so lovely. My friend Jeremy says, "If you are not old enough to remember the McDLT, you have no business stomping around acting all punk rock." Amen, brother.

Big Plain was... a big (1/4 pound?), plain burger and bun. The idea was to "have it your way" and "do it yourself" at home... very punk rock ideas!

of course, no one knew why they were buying a plain hamburger, but we loved 'em.

I was always fond of the hot cockdogs at Faggy's.

i am happy for you!

i worked at mcdonalds when i was 16 and during football season they had the Touchdown Burger. it was really fucking weird actually, the bun was long, like the old chicken sandwich from burger king. it had three beef patties, which were sorta laid out, overlapping, to fit the long bun. i think it was pretty basic toppings, but i seem to remember they were spread out so ketchup was on one side and mayo on the other? not sure about that, but it was an odd one. cant say i miss it, i suppose.

Ribwich at Burger King is ONLY $1.00!!!

Fuck "McRib"!!!
Posted: Nov 12, 2013 10:31 pm

Does the BK Ribwich taste like the Mcrib?

I feel like most of the discontinued sandwiches I remember deserved to die. Like McDonalds Hula Burger, pineapple ring INSTEAD OF MEAT. Or Taco Bell's...Bell Beefer was it called? I think so, although that name sound too bad to be true. Just a burger bun with their burrito meat substance on it. Speaking of the Bell, those crunchy burritos with Fritos in them (also discontinued) beat hell out of those instantly disintegrating Doritos locos they have now.
