dead rocknroller Member	Posted: May 7, 2006 9:46 am I flipped on the tube and was looking through the listing and I see that Cruising was playing on IFC. I'd always wanted to see this since reading that The Germs had a song in the movie. Wow. It's an Al Pacino flick too. The movie had already been on for an hour when I turned it on. So I look to see when it would be on next and it had no listings so I go to IMDB and there's a thread about it. Someone posted the times it's gonna be on and those are: Mon May 15 11:00P on Independent Film Channel Tue May 16 03:00A on Independent Film Channel I turned the thing off after seeing it was gonna play again. Can't wait. The few minutes I did see looked good: Al Pacino in a leather jacket and some shots of NY.

bok choy Member	Posted: May 7, 2006 3:44 pm This movie rules! I think I read that a lot of gays boycotted it when it first came out. In Chicago, North Coast video (damen and division) has it and the time I rented it the clerk was quoting lines from the movie. It is pretty genius.

Theresa K Member	Posted: May 7, 2006 5:27 pm oh man - you all make me feel really old. i saw it in the theatre when it came out some 25 years ago. yeah - a lot of protest/boycott against the movie from gay groups or "representatives" of the gay community when it was released i think it holds up. its a good cop story about an undercover cop getting too into his case. it just happens to be set in the world of leather fetish gay men.

I haven't seen this movie but I've watched some of my roommates gay porn videos and it didn't do a single thing to me. I just thought it was funny and kinda sat there transfixed watching teen guys fuck on the beach and macho hunks fucking each other on a bed and in the shower. The weirdest was this scene where a couple of young guys were fucking in a tree and the guy getting fucked turns around and takes a big load in his mouth and on his cheek. Hot. It was an experience. Fun times.
