Diverse. Unique. Fascinating. Just some of the words that have been used to describe this three-piece rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada and that's just their look. Being musically linked to such genres as alternative, indie/pop, post-punk, emo, college/easy, garage rock, they have found themselves put into just about every category that is even remotely rock related and the diversity of the bands in which it has played with has reflected that. The thing is that at one point or another, all categories have made sense. With influences of Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, Face to Face, The Cure, Placebo, and Sunny Day Real Estate, The day after... has released two EPs and has finished their full-length album "COUNTING ALL THE UPSETS" back in November of '05. After playing with bands such as Joan Jett, Soul Asylum, Face to Face, Eve6, Local H, Damone, theSTART, Vedera and making a name for themselves at South by Southwest (SXSW), ROCKRGRL Festival, Hyperactive Music Festival and New Music West Festival. Now with the national release of "A DIFFERENT WAY TO GET BY" on indie label Gotham Records, The day after... wants you to request our songs on your college radio stations!
