Sonic Chicken 4 are on the road with only a few shows in the Midwest, so please DISREGARD ANY OF ARMAN'S INSIDIOUS COMMENTS and go see them! By far one of the best French bands to come through town in a long time, so don't be AFRAID.

Take the Blue Line El to the California stop and walk a block or two south. It's on the same side of the street as the El station. It will not sell out.

pound sand arman, i've been looking forward to seeing sonic chicken four for about two years. i think it was the mighty go go players show at sub-t with tunnel of love where they had the sc4 singles and love killed my brain. i took a flyer on it because todd said it was really good and it really was. i've hunted down some other stuff and love it, i'm pissed i'm missing this.

It might have just been me. I had fun, but didn't think they were much more than simply "good." I do appreciate MPShows having them play first and getting me out the door at 10:55. Now I'm off to yell at some kids for standing too close to my lawn, closely followed by some complaining to my wife about the high price of celery at the supermarket.

I haven't been to Ronny's in a few weeks, but I didn't remember seeing the water cooler before last night. My guess is Action Man had it priority overnighted in once he heard about Bill being thirsty.

I can't abide even the mere thought of this. I reluctantly offer to let you pick up my bar tab at the Note this evening, ensuring that you wake up Saturday morning with an even bigger regret.
