is the glorious hood of St-Henri's first rock 'n' roll DJ night, giving all of the weird punks in the Sud-Ouest of Montreal a place to go, meet up and psych out! Taking place at the infamous Black Jack
bar at 3800 Notre-Dame Ouest
(near Place-St-Henri metro station and across the street from the Dollarama), its also a great place to get totally wasted on some of the cheapest alcohol in the city ($1.75 bottled beer, $8.50 draft pitchers and $3.00 Bloody Caesars!
), enjoy a smoke on their spacious outdoor terrace, all while avoiding the pitfalls of a frustrated twelve dollar cab ride or hour long walk home from the Plateau.
If you're visiting Montreal for the first time or are already a seasoned tourist, avoid the mess that is St-Laurent boulevard and the hipsters and yuppies in the Brooklyn-wannabe Plateau/Mile-End neighborhood, and enjoy some good tunes in our great hood. Its only 10 minutes away from downtown, and only a five minute walk from Atwater street.
