Hey everybody, I will be in your fair city Sat July 17 with the School of Rock All-Stars for an early show at the Hitone. The tour benefits Haitian relief and tickets are expensive. Here's the deal, I will put any of you on the guest list. Just email me at r carney @ school of rock. com. Bring your kids, bring your friends, I'll put them on the guest list, too! Early show 6:30-8:30.

wow, what a fun show! Rumpleforeskin and Jack Stands in the house, plus a few other goner folks. Thanks to Dan and the Hitone staff, the kids played great and were well received. took a cab back to the Hitone to see the Neckbones, glad I did.

Not my group, it may be another school using our name. We played in Detroit (actually Warren) last Tues at a shithole called the Ritz. One of the worst clubs I 've ever played and thats saying A LOT.

carney, circumstances prevented me from going to this, but is this something you take on the road any other time of the year, or just the summer?

Usually just the summer, although I am a glutton for punishment and sometimes we do a tour around the holidays. We are trying to get a Memphis school going, that was part of the deal last Sat. We had some potential franchisees at the show. I work for the company, my school is not a franchise.
